Guida di Inglese Commerciale

Don’t be scared of Business English! The differences between normal general English and Business English are small; the style of language is generally a little more formal, and you need a slightly larger vocabulary. These pages contain a few simple guides to help you translate common phrases used in everyday Business English. The guides are all written in English, with some translations, because we assume that you have already reached at least an intermediate level and are comfortable reading English.

If you need to use English as a part of your job, you should aim to reach at least B2 level, which is the level of the Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE). If you want to improve your English skills, most of the MilanoInglese teachers can help you study for the First Certificate exam. There are also Business English exams that you can study towards, but the First Certificate is a good level to reach, and it includes excellent tuition on writing, speaking and grammar.

This guide will not replace lessons with a teacher, but we hope you find it helpful!

Fondata nel 2009, MilanoInglese nasce per aiutare a promuovere insegnanti di inglese indipendenti e per aiutare persone come lei a trovare un insegnante privato d’inglese che vive e lavora a Milano.
